I fell in love with the Internet in 1998 when my family got our first computer. It ran Windows 3.1 and AOL 3.0. (Clearly, we were a little behind.) It wasn’t long until I published my first Webpage on Expage.com. It was called “Doozer’s Fun Page.” I do not know why I called myself “Doozer.” And I’m not going to lie, the page wasn’t very “fun” at all.
In 2000, I purchased my first domain: Krazed.net. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the only record I have of this is a very old splash page courtesy of the Way Back Machine. I started blogging using something called Pita (does anyone else remember that?) and eventually moved to Blogger. I blogged about what you might expect a 13-year-old to blog about. Who wrote what on which desk in the technology lab at my middle school. You know, the important stuff.
Since then, I’ve graduated high school, gotten my Associate’s degree, held numerous jobs, and received my Bachelor’s in print and multimedia journalism from Emerson College in Boston. (Here I am on LinkedIn!) I’ve had a few blogs here and there throughout the years, but they were unsuccessful. We’ll see how this one goes!
When I moved to Boston in 2007 to complete my degree, I knew right away I’d have to live here for longer than just the 2 years it would take to get my Bachelor’s. Because this place is great. I currently live in Jamaica Plain.

About This Blog
I’ve lived in Boston for less than two years, so I’m still discovering a lot of the city. This blog is a running commentary on current events, goings-on, and stuff I find that I like. Photos are taken with my Canon Rebel XSi or iPhone.
If you think there’s anything I should check out, shoot me an e-mail at jaimerebhan[at]gmail.com!
